The property is located a mere three kilometres away from town. Pego is a traditional Spanish town with a fascinating history and a population of 10,485. Archaeological sites have uncovered evidence of paleolithic settlements and there are ruins and remains of Roman, Moorish and Christian settlers. There are still the remnants of the Medieval, city walls and the three gates in the Old Town, which date back to the thirteenth century. The history of the town is honoured in the museums and the many fiestas that are held throughout the year.

Pego is a vibrant town with a great sense of community, excellent sports facilities, shops, supermarkets, produce markets, banks and schools as well as a multitude of superb cafés and restaurants. It is a beautiful town to walk around and it´s variety of pretty plazas provide places to enjoy a morning coffee, dinner or just to congregate with local families.
