The stunning location of this country house is ten minutes walk away from the traditional, Spanish pueblo of Benigembla. The hustle and bustle of the Costa Blanca, feels like a million miles away, yet it is a short 23km drive to the coastal town and "blue flag" beaches of Denia. The current owners, Nico and Tanja, have a love for animals and all things outdoors. The house is also home to their grown up son. It is quiet all year round, which makes the summer fiestas in Benigembla quite an astonishing contrast. This house is perfectly located to join the five days of celebrations if you want to, with no taxi needed to get home.

However, most of the people viewing this house will be people in search of a certain, calm and quiet, a place far away from the white noise of the rat race!

The house has been reformed and modernised, with the addition of a luxury swimming pool and sun terrace. However, the land has been kept natural and it is impossible to see where it ends, and the wild landscape begins. That is no accident. The only uninvited visitors are the indigenous animals like the Ibex ( wild goats ) who very rarely make an appearance and leave very quietly when they go.

The pueblo is surrounded by vineyards, orange and olive groves. The famous "riu rau" farm buildings with their arched, storage areas are a common sight. Traditionally built to store and dry grapes to make raisins, the local ayuntamientos (local government town halls) have fought to keep these buildings as part of the local heritage sights. They are an attraction for visitors to the area.
