Local News | A Danish Dream Come True in Llíber!
Jacaranda Spain is proud to present a new property to the portfolio.
This unique property is perched on the side of the Muntanyet, looking down the stunning Valle del Pop (aka the Jalon Valley) towards Jalón. The "Muntanyet" is the mountain that provides the backdrop for the beautiful Spanish pueblo of Llíber.
The community of Llíber spreads out around the mountain and covers an area of 21.9km2. However, the village is tiny and centres around a pretty little plaza at the foot of a stunning stonebuilt church and belltower. The cobbled and paved streets are "picture postcard" beautiful and the villagers take great pride in them. Flowers and plants adorn the doorsteps and some of the streets are lined with flora.
Our new property can be found within a three minute walk of the Plaza Mayor, although you might want to slow down and take in the peaceful ambience! In this priviledged position, with all of the valley at its feet, this exceptional villa has it all.
The current owners, Kenny and Pia, are from Denmark and they fell in love with the villa on sight. "A visit to see our friends in Oliva, in October 2021, sealed our fate! We were captivated by the Spanish lifestyle and culture. Our journey to Llíber began with an unforgettable drive into the Jalon Valley, where the endless fields and orchards of vineyards, almond trees, and orange groves captured our hearts".
"The moment we set foot into the picturesque village of Llíber, we were spellbound. We knew from the start, that this was our destined home and the hunt was on! This house in Llíber was the treasure we were looking for".
All of the essential elements were there. The interior design combines, state of the art appliances and fittings and cutting edge finishes. However, this is not the house for you if you want stark, minimalistic rooms with cold, sharp edges. This house has warmth and personality in spades. It has beautiful, rustic, Spanish features, contemporary artwork and Scandinavian furnishings. It has style and sophistication, yet you can imagine curling up with a good book in one of its cozy corners or diving into the pool and surfacing to that simply, awesome view.
So the only question that remains is "why on earth are you selling?"
"We have great affection for the house and the wonderful community spirit here in Llíber. However, we want to fulfill our dream: to design and build our own home in Spain. It does mean parting with a beautiful home and a source of joy and inspiration, but we are excited for the next chapter. We know that the house will find someone who will cherish it as much as we have".
