" Na de zoveelste koude, natte zomer in België hadden Linda en ik, na overleg met onze dochters besloten om op zoek te gaan naar een plek onder de zon. Het moest een plaats zijn, niet te ver weg (6u van deur tot deur met het vliegtuig) garantie op zon, voldoende ruimte voor onze 2 dochters en overal dichtbij maar toch rustig gelegen. De woning moest ook geschikt zijn om later eventueel als permanent verblijf te kunnen dienst doen. De Costa Blanca leek ons hiervoor aangewezen. Niet vlak aan de kust, maar een beetje het binnenland in. We begonnen aan deze zoektocht samen met Home Espana, welke ons ook een zeer goede en correcte begeleid hebben. Via hen zijn we in contact gekomen met Rob van Jacaranda Spain. Door Rob hebben we de woning gevonden in Lliber, gelegen aan de Jalon Vallei. Een woning die aan al onze wensen voldeed. Dit op gebied van grote, afstand, voorzieningen, ligging en niet onbelangrijk ook budgettair in het plaatje paste. Eens de prijsonderhandelingen afgerond waren, heeft het team van Home Espana an Jacaranda ons zeer goed begeleid tot en met de finale overdracht van de woning en vooral ook nadien. Wat wij als familie vooral appreciëren is de persoonlijke, haast familiale begeleiding door Rob en zijn team. De eerste uren en dagen na de overdracht zijn zeer belangrijk omdat er nog altijd zaken geregeld moeten worden, we konden hierbij zonder problemen en facturen rekenen op de hulp van Jacaranda, waarvoor onze dank. " Beste Rob, Ik weet nog dat we in een split second besloten onze koude winters te verwisselen voor het warme Spanje. Het was een droom die sneller geboren was dan gerealiseerd. Een droomhuis zochten we, een speld in de hooiberg. We hadden geen miljoenen te besteden, maar voldoende budget om het een goede kans van slagen te geven. Avonden en soms nachten besteedden we aan het zoeken op internet. Het ene huis was nog mooier dan het andere, maar we waren gewaarschuwd. Kopen in Spanje is niet zonder risico’s. Dus namen we alle voorzorgsmaatregelen die we dachten dat nodig waren. De huizenjacht in Spanje kon beginnen. Voor veel huizen legde ik contact met nog meer makelaars. Jij viel op ! Niet door meteen een hele rits huizen aan ons voor te leggen, maar door heel precies door te vragen wat we zochten en uit te leggen wat je daarin voor ons kon betekenen. lk kan niet zo direct zeggen wat me nu zo heel erg aansprak, maar iets in mijn achterhoofd maakte me duidelijk dat we met jou een goede keuze deden om ons huis te realiseren. Nu ben ik nogal van de systematische aanpak en de analyse. Dus we planden een tiendaagse wereldreis met een bomvolle agenda door Spanje. Van de Costa del Sol tot aan de Costa Blanca hebben we ruim veertig huizen gezien en vele makelaars hun diensten zien aanprijzen. Bijna hadden we ons bezoek aan de Costa Blanca afgezegd, omdat we dachten ons huis te hebben gevonden. Mijn vrouw is wijzer in die dingen en dus stond jij op 20 april 2016 met je auto voor onze deur. Die eerste dag was een propvolle dag vol bezichtigingen. Je had je collega-makelaars ingeschakeld om een zo groot mogelijk aanbod te hebben. Je moest nog ontdekken, wat we precies wilden en wat niet zo eenvoudig in een programma van eisen is vast te leggen. En ik geef het grif toe ! We waren kritisch. We zochten iets moois in de natuur met stilte en toch vlakbij de zee, de winkels en natuurlijk die heerlijke restaurants en straatjes waar je in kan verdwalen. We wilden gaan voor de Spaanse cultuur, snel Spaans leren en nog meer van het fand gaan houden. Deden we toch al ! De eerste dag was rampzalig. We hadden het mooie huis aan de Costa del Sol in ons achterhoofd en dan is het bijna onmogelijk om voor iets anders nog enthousiast te worden. We lieten je de foto’s zien, zelfs de foto’s van ons huis in Nederland om je duidelijk te maken , waar het om ging. Aan het eind van de eerste dag keek ik je aan en zei; “Rob, als dit is wat er beschikbaar is, dan hoeven we niet verder te zoeken. Dan gaan we terug naar de Costa del Sol om de aankoop daar verder voor te bereiden” Je keek me aan en begon te lachen. “Natuurlijk Rob, als dat is wat je wilt, maar……ik heb een dag nodig gehad om precies uit te vinden wat je zoekt en morgen is de dag dat je blij zult zijn hier naartoe te zijn gekomen.” Laat ik kort zijn. De andere dag zagen we meerdere huizen die een heel eind in de richting kwamen en een ervan… ……”This is an option, fluisterde Henriette achter mij” lk wist dat we de speld in de hooiberg eindelijk gevonden hadden. Maar ver boven ons budget…. Hoe wil je dit doen Rob, dit gaat nooit lukken!…Laat het nu maar aan mij en mijn collega over. We gaan kijken hoe ver we komen en het is aan jou om te beslissen hoever je mee wilt gaan. We namen afscheid en er braken spannende weken aan. Ik wist dat ik in budget mee moest, maar zou het voor ons bereikbaar zijn ? In ons hart woonden we er al en in Holland dronken we al menig glas Spaanse wijn op de goede afloop. De deal kwam rond. Natuurlijk er moest geld bij, maar Rob, je had je belofte meer dan waar gemaakt. Dat het aanvankelijk op het eind, echt op het allerlaatste detail en geheel buiten jouw schuld, toch nog misliep, dat was een grote kater. We waren in de spreekwoordelijke Spaanse achtbaan terecht gekomen. Je sprak bemoedigende woorden om de teleurstelling dragelijk te maken. “Believe me Rob, in the end I will find your house, believe me. Have patience …the house will come to you” . We zijn nog één keer terug geweest om andere huizen met jou te bekijken, maar dat was geen succes, kon het ook niet zijn, want de kater was nog te vers. Op de laatste dag zijn we terug gegaan naar het huis om nog eens te zien wat ons uit handen was gevallen. Het was een van de meest onaangename momenten die ik in Spanje heb meegemaakt. De teleurstelling was zo groot. Daarna heb ik, buiten jou om, mijn eigen plan getrokken. Contact gezocht met de Nederlandse eigenaars en een nieuw bod neergelegd. Ik begreep dat de eerder afgesproken prijs, niet te dragen was voor deze mensen en eerlijk gezegd, ik voelde daar wel in mee. We hadden genoeg gezien om te weten dat het huis een beter bod waard was. De deal is alsnog rond gekomen. Het huis is inmiddels van ons en met de vorige eigenaren hebben we alles heel goed en correct kunnen afhandelen. Ik weet nog hoe ik er tegen op zag om jou te bellen en je te vertellen dat door stille diplomatie buiten jou om, de deal toch nog rond was gekomen. In tegenslag krijg je pas echt een band met mensen en met jou was die band gegroeid. Het voelde als vriendschap en ik wilde je op geen enkele manier voor het hoofd stoten. Je reactie was hartverwarmend. Oprecht blij was je dat we er toch in geslaagd waren die droom te realiseren. Wat waren Henriëtte en ik opgelucht. En nu…nu achteraf weet ik precies waarom ik zo veel vertrouwen in je had. Nooit heb je druk op ons uitgeoefend, onze wens stond voorop en je wist dat een te snelle keuze altijd spijt oplevert. De zorgvuldigheid en je oprechte interesse in onze droom hebben steeds de kwaliteit van je handelen bepaald. Daarvoor willen wij je heel hartelijk danken. Goede zaken vergen eerlijkheid en redelijkheid. Excellente zaken vragen om meer. Sympathie en vreugde in h t spel zijn daarin belangrijke ingrediënten. Je hebt deze kruiden meer dan voldoende i dit{koopgerecht” gestopt. Als wij over enkele weken met jou in ons nieuwe huis het glas heffen en Spaanse tapas met Hollandse zwier voor jou op tafel zetten, dan weten we at er nog gelukkige tijden voor ons op stapel staan.
